ClickUp: helping 'Todos' get done.

I have several todo lists. There's one for chores and home improvement ideas, one for my volunteer activities, and several scratch pads filled with notes on each of my client files. I have a campaign book that gets dusted off around election time, and a mad diorama of notes and pages and graphics in a google drive. I actually have three google drives.

And then there's the mental list. I have always balked at the concept of writing everything down. I keep a whole lot of info in my head and undergo a cirque de solei act of mental gymnastics to recall important items, tidbits of information, to prep for meetings, spontaneous run ins and life in general. It is a superpower that diminishes with age.

I have gotten a lot better at using a calendar for everything. Two kids in competitive sports and a handful of other activities makes it mandatory and keeps me from double booking and keeps me from searching for an address in a email chain 17 messages long.

Over the past year, I have begun using, and recommending ClickUp, a project management tool that my partner Wade introduced me to. It has, for the better, changed my life and how I conduct business. It is also a standard recommendation to new clients.
